Pediatrician President of the Panhellenic Federation of Self-Employed Pediatricians
With over 40 years of medical experience, Pediatrician Konstantinos Daloukas has dedicated his life to improving the health of children and families.
He graduated from the School of Medicine, University of Athens, in 1974 with a grade of Very Good and completed his specialization in Pediatrics in 1982.
In 2010, he was elected Municipal Councilor in Maroussi, where during his term he served as President of the Health Organization. He was responsible for municipal daycare centers, the “Help at Home” program, and the organization and supervision of voluntary blood donation and the Volunteer Office of the Municipality of Maroussi.
He is an Elector of the Panhellenic Medical Association (PIS).
He served as Founder and President of the Association of Self-Employed Pediatricians of Attica for six years and currently remains a member of its Board of Directors. Since 2021, he has been President and founding member of the Panhellenic Federation of Self-Employed Pediatricians. He is also a founding member and Board member of the Confederation of Private Physicians of Greece (SIDIE).
From 2018 to the present, he has participated as a Primary Health Care instructor in the postgraduate training seminar organized by Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology E. Charmandari at the “Agia Sofia” Children’s Hospital. He is a member of the Hellenic National Public Health Organization (EODY) committee for the management of Measles and Pertussis.
As President, he has communicated extensively with public authorities and has carried out numerous interventions on public health issues, including mandatory vaccination, food and water safety, road traffic accidents, and vaccination of refugees. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he proposed to the Prime Minister of Greece the active participation of pediatricians in the SARS-CoV-2 vaccination campaign, including home vaccination of frail and elderly individuals and vaccination of children in private pediatric offices. He personally participated in home vaccination initiatives.
In 2023, as President of the Panhellenic Federation of Self-Employed Pediatricians, he organized the “UMBRELLA” initiative, aimed at informing and vaccinating children in more than 10 border regions of Greece.
He has organized and coordinated educational webinars for pediatricians and has participated as a speaker or session chair in numerous conferences and scientific meetings.
He has collaborated with and authored articles for numerous medical journals, newspapers, websites, blogs, and other digital media. He has also made frequent appearances on television and radio news and informational programs discussing medical and pediatric topics.
